The course was insightful and relevant to my duties. It was such an eye opener. I would do this course over and over again. I liked the interactive part of it when doing examples in the form of calculations and the availability of template to download.

A few more short videos would have helped – they were great. As always love the quizzes to keep you focusing.

I enjoy when lesson had more video just mere reading. If the same content was put on a video it would make more interesting and easier to follow.

  11. Joseph Wheeler

    Great Course

  12. Martin John Cope

  13. Mark Casson

Encouraged by the FM versus accounting thinking, but disappointed that it didn’t explore options of changing the focus away from shareholder (ie owner) obsession and therefore profit obsession. In fact the overall theme of the course is tantalisingly close to this, but perhaps it could go further. Loved the focus on forecasting and cashflow over traditional budgeting, but again might be useful to explore further an evolution of budget from FM perspective; it was touched on in the latter modules.

  14. David Martin

The methodological principles were clear but the workings were could be better explained.

  15. Sandra Bell

Great overview and good points I liked the revision it provided

  16. Joshua Howarth

    Very relevant and informative

  17. Sue Moore

Initially I wondered when this course was written as it opened with a paragraph similar to what I had been referring to, over 15 years ago. As the course moved on I felt it was more modern than initially, though harped on rather about annual budgets. The annual budget process still exists out there, but, all the companies I worked for from 2000, had the ability to seek funding for investments during any part of the year. Those investments always had to be part of the strategy and objectives, and had show a positive return. Overall the course was interesting and kept my attention. I found the sight of the spreadsheet useful for NPV but, as on other courses/modules, the use of this standalone sheet isn’t that helpful in the way it is applied. A pity some of the actions couldn’t be more interactive, maybe using the video with them or sound bites. there is also a typo in the last module where it says 1.1% instead of 1.05%

The topic Is very complex and quite new for me. I didn’t like this course. I would excpect a more basic training with more detailed example.
