I always enjoy the ethics courses. They are good reminder in the midst of the conflicting demands of the job. The case studies are the best part – and the quizzes.

  3. Sean Mahony

Makes you think about ethics, how you and your organisation recognises and follows them, and how to apply them them everyday. 4 hours seems like a long time for something I felt already knew. But the course made me think in different ways about living and applying ethics.

  16. Sheridan Willing

i thoroughly enjoyed the course. it made me think about myself, my life, my workplace…a bit of reflecting. it made me conclude that my workplace isnt too bad on the ethics front. as with everything, there are things that could improve, but overall, it reminded me to be happy with my workplace. it made me think about my family and relationships; reflecting on how i conduct myself in various personal situations, and how i want to add these aspects to my parenting.

Enjoyed the presenter speaking. Her points were well considered, connected and easy to understand. She was very relatable. Course content was just right not to light or too heavy.

  29. Cara Keogh

Not too cumbersome, interesting case studies (although the Stanford Prison Experiment should probably be updated, wasn’t it debunked/shown to not be entirely untampered?) and there are references to the likes of FIFA and Amazon’s Codes of Conducts which also probably need revisiting… but otherwise more enjoyable than an in-person ethics course.

I made the mistake of ordering this training under the assumptions it would provide links to common ethical dilemmas faced by the Accounting profession (Ethics in the workplace). My personal opinion is the training is far too high level to provide tangible benefits in the workplace.
