About the course

The collapse of Enron in the noughties provided the driving force for the development of strong corporate governance principles.     I was genuinely blown away by the course material, particularly the “Comply or Explain” approach and the discussion of SOX. Seeing how these frameworks can be relevant beyond the corporate sector—and meaningfully applied to NGOs—was eye-opening. The material was exceptionally well explained, practical, and insightful, and it has directly influenced how I think about governance in my own work. I am now seriously considering developing governance and compliance tools tailored specifically for the NGO sector. This course has been both intellectually stimulating and immediately applicable.
