I’m in my 60th year in employment, working for others and in various businesses of my own. I was involved in setting up Trusted Business Advisor training for accountants well over 20 years ago. This course is outstanding in that it shows the stepping stones through to being a TBA. This is a process, and as I walk a staff member through the stages at the moment, I’m concerned because youthful enthusiasm can destroy client relations. Conclusion: Walk slowly over the thin ice ……

I think it was just a little bit too long and dry. The accountant on the videos seems like a nice man, but his presentation is very dry – his tone of voice does not change and he does not appear to have any enthusiasm for his topic.
David Willder –
presenter very good

Happy with course, gave me a better understanding of the subject area. Will definitely help with building up client base and services. Some good ideas to implement. Would appreciate some external URL links to the subject matter e.g. potential CRM systems for a practice, Case studies or College papers re the use of the trust equation etc.

Good content, some of the guidance relevant to a partner-level audience is presented at a rather 101 level. A balancing act of course, as the the course is applicable to a broad audience. The use of double negatives in the quizzes between the questions and the answers seems a bit geeky at times, i.e. less focused on whether the content was understood, more whether you picked-up the trick in the phraseology of Q&A.
