About the course

Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is no longer optional – it’s a core part of how organisations operate, attract talent, and build trust. People want to work somewhere they feel valued and engaged, and where they can contribute fully. For accountants, this goes beyond compliance. You play a key role in shaping fair, transparent, and accountable environments.

This course explores the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion and how they apply in practice. You’ll examine the legal framework, including the Equality Act 2010, and understand different forms of discrimination, bias, and privilege. The course also looks at how organisations can design fair processes – from recruitment to reporting – and how inclusive behaviours, communication, and policies contribute to a workplace where people feel valued and able to perform at their best.

You’ll come away with a clearer understanding of your role in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. This course will give you practical ways to challenge discrimination, support inclusive decision-making, and contribute to building a workplace culture where individuals, and organisations, can thrive.

Please Note: This course covers UK law, but the principles are universal
