Helen has coached professionals in business at all levels on a range of leadership, career progression, influence, impact and confidence issues. With twenty-five years of professional services experience, she understands the nuances of building a career in a complex organisation.
She is a chartered accountant and spent the majority of her career at PwC in a wide variety of roles. In her final role as Director of the People and Culture Risk team, she worked with finance, internal audit, compliance, and risk functions, helping them improve their teams’ capabilities and culture.
Helen’s coaching provides leaders with a platform for self-exploration and growth. By providing a safe and non-judgmental space, she empowers her clients to confront and overcome both individual and collective challenges. Her approach is a blend of insightful questions and reflective challenge, particularly around the use of language and metaphor. This increases a client’s field of awareness, allowing them to understand what’s important to them and to be mindful of learned patterns of behaviour.
As a result, they gain fresh perspectives on who they are and how they lead, together with an ability to develop strategies to take on new challenges and thrive in their careers. A key part of Helen’s approach is a clear understanding of the coaching goals and how progress towards these will be measured.
Helen is a member of the International Coaching Federation and holds their Associate Coach Credential.
